    Acetic Acid Water

    (0.6% Acetic Acid Solution)

    Sterile 0.6% acetic acid diluent for peptides that will not dissolve cleanly at neutral pH, such as IGF-1 analogues.

    Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, supplied in sealed 3 ml and 10 ml multi-dose vials, so a vial can be re-entered during a study. Acetic acid water is a 0.6% acetic acid solution for reconstituting acid-sensitive peptides. Solvents are sold as 10-vial packs rather than single vials, because a single-vial order could otherwise leave a compound without its diluent.
